cool painting. Is that a canvas panel? Oil or acrylic? My teacher used to say that when drawers first start painting they make drawings out of their paintings. Some of that might be going on here. Still very good.
I don't think anyone will pay 6209 for it though. It looks to be worth only 6208.
It's acrylic on canvas panel. Believe it or not you can get some really good and yet cheap art supplies at walmart. That's where I got the canvas pannel for like a buck per 8 1/2" X 11"
I can't remember the artists name but he worked in blacks and oranges and I thougt it was pretty cool, and for a first painting I thought that doing silhouet trees and concentrating on colour mixing and blending along with experimenting with a little texture(not very visible)in the grass and mist would be best. I thought it turned out pretty well, though I'm considering doing a little highlight on the trees, perhaps make em more brown instead of stark black. What do you think?
